Wow! A week has flown by so quickly and it's already time for another tease :)) Enjoy!!

Amber looked up and caught her breath. She was staring into the deepest, liquid hazel eyes she’d ever seen. The handsome guy in front of her smiled and inclined his head. She kept staring, taking in his tall frame and wide shoulders. He wore a bright aqua t-shirt that hugged his hard chest and contrasted beautifully with his deeply tanned muscular arms. Amber’s heart fluttered and a rush of desire erupted in her chest and spread over her entire body. She’d never felt such overwhelming emotions before and she wondered if this was what “love at first sight” felt like. She was aware that she stood with her mouth gaping open like a fool but she just couldn’t stop herself. He was beautiful, handsome, sexy…Oh my God! He’s smoking hot! Amber couldn’t find her voice either, and his brow furrowed when she still hadn’t spoken.

Show some love for this amazing author and her beautiful debut novel!!

After much fighting and struggling with blogger and my entire system, I finally managed to get up the Tuesday Tease. Better late than never, right? Enjoy

She wrapped the blanket around her bare shoulders and gave a heavy sigh. Amber stared into the darkness of the woods just in front of her. There was a sudden rustle in the bushes just behind the plaque that made Amber’s heart beat rapidly. She strained her eyes, peering harder into the darkness, looking for any sign of movement. There wasn’t even a hint of the slightest breeze that could have stirred the leaves. Another rustle of the bushes had her on her feet, backing away toward the house. The rush of blood in her ears was deafening and she was gasping for breath by the time she reached the porch. The forest was full of scary beasts, so she wasn’t going to take any chances. But the sudden bone-chilling sensation that entered the atmosphere made her think that there was something more sinister watching from the shadows. The sensation crept up her spine like icy, skeletal fingers, finally resting on her neck, causing the fine hairs to stand on end.

Carmine read the letter and his eyes darkened. A fierce scowl covered his face.
He crumpled the page. “What are the means of this?” His voice was deep and steady as he spoke through clenched teeth.
“I…I’ve been meaning to tell you, Daddy, but I just never got a chance.” The words stumbled from her mouth, revealing the lie.
“Have I not given you everything you’ve ever needed?” He was angry now and did not care much for her excuses. “Were the private lessons not good enough for you? Are you that ungrateful?”
Tears sprang up in her eyes and her lip trembled. Amber had never, in all her life, witnessed Carmine’s rage, but she saw it rising in his deep emerald eyes like a sudden thunderstorm ready to strike with its lashes of lightening.
“No, it’s not like that. I appreciate all you’ve ever given me. But I’m eighteen now and I think it’s time for me to go out into the world. I need to meet new people…people my age. I want to feel normal.”
“Normal?” His mouth twisted into a wicked smile. “Amber, you are in no way normal. You have a gift, one that the world will never understand. Do you really want to take that chance?” His tone was mocking and more tears welled in her eyes.

Whew, well I have finally finished the revisions for Therian! I can't say it wasn't a daunting task, and I will never take those few extra hours of sleep for granted ever again!! But I had so much fun with the edits and as I re-read the story I couldn't help falling in love with my characters all over again :)))

Amber, Taye, Lynke, Luna, Deacon, Lucard, and all my other imaginary friends!! I love you guys!!

Very excited, and I cannot wait to get the news of the release date :). Over the next few weeks I will be posting excerpts of the book. These will also appear on Therian's facebook page.!/pages/The-Bloody-Crescent-Book-1-Therian/268069359875004

All Amberlyn Darksky has ever wanted is to be normal. But what if normal is everything supernatural and legendary?

Amber has never been ordinary. She has a gift, the ability to see memories through simple touch, and for her it’s a curse. Especially when she has to relive her mother’s death, the night she was born, through her father’s eyes. Leading a sheltered life for years under his constant watch has her yearning for freedom and her acceptance into Cyprus Falls University gives her just that.

She is immediately plunged into a world of true love, heart ache, seduction and horror. With a deepening affection for Tayelon Cree, whose sparkling hazel eyes leave her breathless, and the undeniable allure of Lucard Colbaine, who seems to be immune to her gift, can she accept what either of them represent in her life? And what about the steely eyed vampire who invades her dreams?

When the blackouts and nightmares begin, Amber fears the pain that rips into her soul and threatens to destroy her. Before long she is faced with the truth of her destiny, as well as the devastating secrets that surround the people she holds dearest; dark secrets that will truly change the course of her very existence. Amber doesn’t know if she has the strength to accept the hand fate has dealt her. She will have to fight as hard as possible to remain human while the beasts inside her rage to take over.

This one will be moving to the top of my TBR list!!

When one human stands before an army of impossible obstacles, the likelihood of overcoming them in this coming-of-age modern fairytale may result in war between light and darkness.

Abandoned as an infant in Prague, naive and strong-willed Charlotte Ruzikova was raised by one of the last Vampires left alive. As a human, she knows no other home than the one nestled deep in the woods of Eastern Europe, where Witches drew spells of enchantment, Phasers threw tea parties, and Elves are the closest in kin. Charlotte has lived her life in the dark with her Guardian, content to having him to herself and reveling in his attention, until she's realizes she wants more...

Resident medical doctor and Vampire, Valek Ruzik fears the day his ward would come of age and blossom into a fine woman, and he is forced to confront his own motives as time is of the essence once his past catches up to him, and their lives become endangered...

As genocide and war threatens their secret society, the dictator in power is ready to wipe out Valek's race, but Charlotte will not allow that to happen. Fighting for the only one she's ever loved and truly believed in, she will do whatever it takes to save their love...before the sun comes up and light takes over.
