Desperate to keep him...

I've finally gotten everything I ever wanted: love, freedom, happiness, and, most importantly, Finn. Our love is everything I expected it to be and more. We've finally found each other, but the world seems determined to tear us apart. We thought my father was the only obstacle between us, but now it's the military. With Finn’s departure looming, we’re squeezing in every moment together before we run out of time.

Trying to make every moment count…

Being Carrie’s bodyguard was one thing. Being her boyfriend is another. Every day she’s mine is a day the sun shines in my life. Yet our time together is running out. Her father will never think a tattooed Marine will be good enough, so I’ll do whatever it takes to be worthy of her love. But the road will take me away from the girl who makes me feel alive--the girl I can't live without.

Time only gets us so far...

REVIEW

Oh. My. Freaking. Hell. If my heart didn't explode a million times over reading this book!
If it wasn't breaking into pieces, then it was bursting with elation!

I really loved Carrie and Finn's story in Out of Line, so I was super excited for it to continue with this series. They really are such a sweet, amazing couple and I was hoping things would get a little easier for them, but of course, life is messy, love is challenging and no matter how strong the bond two people share, there are always those outside influences that cause havoc.

It seemed like there was so much against them, from Carrie's father to Finn's unknown future and deployment as a Marine, but I'm glad they stood together and faced things as a couple. Yes, the stress of their lives showed its ugly face from time to time and their insecurities made them say things they normally wouldn't, but they came out in the end still very much in love. Finn is to die for. Seriously! And that little Christmas setup he put together just melted my heart. I just have one question to ask - Where can I get my very own Finn???

I knew something bad was going to happen. It was inevitable. It was just a question of what and when; and when the time came I was a bundle of mixed emotions. I was so happy that Carrie finally stood up to her father, but at the same time I was devastated and so worried about Finn. I am awed at how deeply I feel for these characters. I truly LOVE them and to have anything happen to either of them would have left me feeling broken.

This book was exciting, romantic and sexy. I loved every second of it!
