This was an excellent introductory novella that gave me a precise view of what to expect from this exciting new series. A great way for readers to better acquaint themselves with the hierarchy of this new world, and the fantastic new characters, whom I cannot wait to see more of! Especially Octavian. I sense a lot of defiance behind his loyalty, and I have a feeling I'll see a lot more of it as this series continues. 

I am excited to meet Farley and to see what will happen with her and the hidden world that she's about to me thrust into. This whet my appetite and I need more!!
