Josiah grew up in a dying world. The Holdout survived, but when you are the son of Sylvia Cragen, you give up delusions early. He knew that they would die bloody--it wasn't a matter of if. Only when. Parker shouldn't be alive. He should have died long before scouts from the Last Holdout rescued him. And he knows better than to believe that sailing away from the safety of the Holdout is a good idea. Now, without the Holdout to protect them, all of his nightmares are coming true. Josiah is just crazy enough to believe that a fresh start is a good thing. But Parker has lived as prey, hunted by zombies and survivors before--and he knows that no one really survives. In the wild, zombie claimed world outside the walls of safety, there is only the dead walking.

REVIEW
I was so excited when I
found out that Nazarea Andrews had a spin off to, The World Without End series in the works. I was a little disappointed
with the way the series ended, and of course more Finn is always a plus, so it
was great to see what happened after Ren and Finn got on that boat with Josiah
and Parker.
This book was just as
thrilling as the series it stemmed from, but with even more surprises. Africa
promised a whole new level of danger. A wild, unknown land, thought to be
overrun by the virus that destroyed the world, Josiah and his team were in for
quite the shock.
Aside from all the Biter
drama, I loved getting to know Josiah and Parker. Seeing how their relationship
developed, and watching them interact was very interesting. Their devotion and love
for each other was tangible; a beautiful thing to watch. They were so perfectly
in sync with each other, but the final moments of this book threw me completely.
I have so many questions about what this means for them, and where this story
will go from here. I need more now.
