Staying at Brenda’s seems to be the simplest solution… until he wakes up in Airen’s bed.
Making a valiant attempt to shove his growing feelings aside, Aiden forces himself to walk away and protect Airen from afar. Unfortunately, his plan backfires, and Robert de Fleur uses that weakness to make his move.
Kicking himself for allowing his feelings to get in the way of the mission, Aiden sets out to do what he should have done all along… take out Robert de Fleur once and for all. Can Aiden stick to the mission, or will Airen tear down every defense he puts in place and gain complete entrance to his heart?

What a rush!
This book was superb. It was intriguing and suspenseful but
also had all the qualities I love in a good romance. I really liked that the
romance aspect wasn’t what drove this book completely; I’m a huge fan of
romantic fiction but I love books that can stand on their own should that
element be extracted altogether.
This book had substance and a thrilling plotline that kept
me on the edge of my seat – the romance was just the gooey, delicious, triple
chocolate caramel fudge frosting on the top that made it all the more
delectable.
I enjoyed getting to know Aiden a little better (Jared is
still my fav, though!), and Airen was a fantastic addition to this series. She
was a strong character, even though she went through hell in this book, and her
feistiness shone through, especially toward the end of the book when she
refused to sit back and play the victim to her uncle’s vindictiveness. I also
loved that she refused to allow her own happiness slip away and she took the
risk of having her heart broken, because in the end it was worth it.
Another great instalment in this exciting series and I
cannot wait for more from the Six.
