His future with Kate is bleak. The darkness, too hard to control. The key, still lost.
Can Lucas win the battle raging inside his body in order to win the war rising on the streets?
DREAM CAST
When I write the story plays in my head like a movie.
The first step of my pre-writing process is to find Internet stars who resemble my characters. The right actor can make all the difference.
It was a dream that spurred the plot of Fallen Darkness. The dream was mostly about my heroine, Kate, but in it Desmond Harrington was Kate’s rescuer. He fit perfectly in the role of Lucas. (Yum! Just look at those eyes.)
Kate is Emmy Rossum from the TV series Shameless. They have similar characteristics, particularly their stubborn determination to survive. (Kate-slash-Emmy is just naturally gorgeous, don’t you think?)
The antagonist, Henry, aka Serial, is a random guy on the street. Someone you wouldn’t look at twice. For this character, I had to choose Matt Damon from The Informant. There’s nothing freakier than a guy-next-door killer.
Sonneillon is the other bad guy. (Psst. He’s my favorite. Don’t tell the others.) Sonneillon is played by Daniel Radcliffe, though definitely not the Harry Potter version.
I love my cast for Fallen Darkness. This is a movie I’d play over and over again just for the eye candy. ;)
About the Author
RB Austin enjoys torturing dogs (dressing her Cairn terrier in knitted sweaters and booties), embarrassing her daughter (singing in the car . . . at the top of her lungs . . . with the windows open . . . at a stop light), and indulging in the second deadliest sin (chocolate, Swedish fish, chocolate, sour patch watermelons, and chocolate).
This author’s love of the sun puts in her in the more-than-likely-not-a-vampire category, unless you’re referring to the bloodsuckers in her Trihune series, then all bets are off.
