Our love is on his terms. He contacts me only through notes − unpredictable and untraceable. When we meet, he can touch me, but I’m not allowed to touch him. When we make love, it’s only after I have been bound and blindfolded. It’s the only time I truly feel alive. Which is why I play along with it. For now.

Caden Thaine is the most sinfully beautiful man I have ever seen. But more than that, his touch sets me on fire. And dear God, do I ache for him. I don’t know where he lives or even what he does. But this doesn’t scare me. My only fear is that one day his messages will stop. I know he’s hiding something. But that’s okay. I am hiding things, too. Like my real name and... who I really am. But the deeper I fall for him, the stronger my curiosity grows.

I could never have imagined just how much our lives are bound. And that pulling at his tangled web of secrets would cause my own dark past to come back to try and reclaim me. Will we survive? Will our love?

Adult romantic suspense. +18 years.

REVIEW

Be prepared to be seduced. Be prepared to be surprised.

This book was nothing like I was expecting. It started off as this thrilling game of lust, passion and seduction, that soon turned into a web of lies and deceit. I loved getting to know Kitten. She seemed feisty and powerful; a woman with a strong will and one who has obviously been through something life shattering. And the more I got to know her, the more I wanted to know about the past she was running from.

Caden was an enigma. I loved how Peach kept me in the dark, just as she did Kitten, about who Cade truly was and what secrets he was hiding. I was completely enthralled and frustrated at the same time. I could feel Kitten's anguish as it grew over time; her need to know this man who swept into her life and became her everything. Although, at times, there relationship bordered on unhealthy, I could very much relate to the intense passion that Kitten had for Cade. She was totally consumed by the need to be with him, to please him, and to have as much of him as she could. My heart exploded the day she pushed him too hard and it looked like she'd lost him forever. Anyone who has truly loved will know that feeling when the only person who means the world to you walks away; the emptiness they leave behind. It's terrifying. And Kitten loved Cade so intensely that it shattered me to see her go through something like that.

The Book took a bit of a turn after that dreadful encounter, and as Kitten relived her past I was made privy to the torturous past that kept her so guarded. Secrets were revealed, lies unraveled, and a thrilling game of cat and mouse ensued as Kitten turned the tables on Cade. It was quite shocking, but I believed deep down that what she discovered was not quite what it seemed. I held onto hope that Cade was not the villain she thought him to be. There was more to this story and it all had to tie in somehow with his true identity; the secrets he continued to keep hidden from her.

This book ended so suddenly I wanted to toss my Kindle across the room. It was a bit anti-climatic, but I think it was because I was left with so many unanswered questions. As I read this book I kept telling myself, "Okay, one more chapter." but I could not put it down, because the start of each new chapter brought me closer to finding out the truth behind Cade, and I so desperately wanted to know why? Why did he have the rules? Why was he so strict about them?

I NEED the next book in this series because I feel like a part of me is missing. Until I get answers to my most burning questions I will not be satisfied. I need more of Kitten and Cade. Together, they were intoxicating, and as Kitten was addicted to Cade, so I am addicted to them.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hanna began to write at the tender age of seven, starting with a daring and questionable autobiography entitled Go Suck a Lemon. Perhaps it was a little before its time.
After leaving school she agreed with everyone who said she needed to get a degree and a real job to become a proper adult. She kept writing as a hobby. After starting (and never finishing) several degrees and switching from multiple careers, she finally decided that being a real adult was overrated. In 2012, she sold everything, moved to Europe and began to write full-time.
Eternally restless, Hanna has lived in Indonesia, Australia, Germany and Scotland. She is currently residing in England.
She is addicted to coffee and chocolate and would one day like to own a dragon.
Hanna Peach is the author of the Dark Angel urban fantasy series and Bound romantic suspense series. Angelblood (Dark Angel #4) and Bound by Fear (Bound #2) are due for publication in 2014.
