REVIEW
This book was action-packed and fast paced. I read the first book in this series quite a while ago, and like Rachael in this book, as the story developed, I was able to put the pieces of the puzzle together, remembering all that had taken place when Lock had first attached himself to her, and all the craziness that had ensued with Mother and The Sins.
I loved getting to know some of the characters from the previous books a little better, and to see them in a different light, while also getting to see the darkness that lurked in those whom seemed more pure and good.
This was quite a long read, and I will admit that at times it felt a little too long-winded, but each time the action picked up and Rachael and her friends found themselves up against another obstacle, I fell right back into the story.
Rachael and Lock's love has been anything but normal, and this book only stretched it further to its breaking point. At one moment I even lost all hope that there was, well, HOPE for them. But in a strange twist of fate they defied the odds and even in a world filled with turmoil, they were able to find a way back to each other. The ending had me tearing up. It was beautiful and clever, and left me feeling complete. A great paranormal romance.
