Scott Cassidy has lived a blessed life. Growing up in Laguna Beach with a loving family, he was discovered in high school when he appeared on the popular reality TV show, Laguna Nights. Jamie Kane isn’t lucky in love or life. Her childhood was tumultuous with a single mom who moved to Hollywood for fame but ended up waiting tables in Malibu. Certainly not one of the spoiled kids she went to high school and college with, Jamie has worked hard to achieve her dreams of being an actress, even as she begins to realize it’s not her calling. Jamie believes Scott may be the answer to everything unless a past mistake makes him doubt their future together.

EXCERPT
“Hey,” Jamie said from behind him. He turned around and his
senses were instantly alive, remembering how strong the attraction was between
them, even though he had tried to deny it while focusing on work. Jamie
appeared like an angel, bathed in the light of the full moon, dressed in jeans
and a simple pink sweater. Her cheeks were flushed and her dark hair hung in
luscious waves around her shoulders. Her soft lips were coated in shiny lip
gloss and Scott fought the urge to kiss her right then and there.
“Hey, beautiful,” he said. “Thanks for inviting me. I feel like
I’m standing at the end of the world.”
“You sort of are. I’m so glad you came. I know it’s a drive
from West Hollywood.”
Scott took a step closer, until they were standing as close as
was possible without touching. He could feel the warmth of her body. He could
smell the floral scent of her shampoo. She reached out and touched his arm,
tilting her head up to look at him. His entire body responded to her touch and
he just had to kiss her.
Jamie stood in front of him, lips slightly open, her eyes
inviting. Scott didn’t need a second invitation. He cradled her face in his
hands and leaned forward, his lips pressing against hers. The kiss started
gently and he tilted his head, fitting their mouths together. Jamie wrapped her
arms around his neck. As she gasped, her mouth opened for him. His tongue swept
into her mouth and she stroked it back with hers, angling her head to deepen
the kiss.
He felt her hands sliding down his shoulders and arms, then
across his chest as she pressed herself to him, her body arching into his.
Scott’s self-control slipped away, his resolve to tread lightly dashed as his
hands dropped to her waist and then to her perfect butt, pressing her even more
firmly against him. She heightened his arousal and he felt his erection thicken
as she ground her hips against him.
She had to be the sexiest woman on the planet. He was more
turned on than he’d been in a long time. He wanted to take her home. He wanted
to forget the party, forget anything but the two of them.
