The weekend is finally upon us and it is going to be a busy one.
Saturday marks my very first read-a-thon as I join in Dewey’s 24 hour Read-a-Thon.
I don’t have much of a game plan as to what I’m going to read, but I think getting stuck into a series would be the best way to go. I tend to dwell on characters and stories long after I’ve finished reading a book, so by reading a series my mind will stay on one path. With the release of the third book in The Graveyard Queen series being next week, this is the series I’ve chosen to start my read-a-thon with.
I was lucky enough to get a copy of ‘The Prophet’ from HarlequinMira via Netgalley, and I’ve just purchased copies of the first two books in the series. YAY!! I guess I’ll just wing it from there and see where my Kindle takes me.
I’ve decided to make this weekend one filled with ‘thons’. So straight after the read-a-thon I’ll spend Sunday doing my very own write-a-thon!!
*sigh* I would so be joining you in the read-a-thon if I didn't have to work this weekend... it would be so awesome too since my list has gotten HUGE! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww! I wish you could join :( let me know when you're not busy and we can organise our own Read-a-thon :) :)
