Review
This book was amazing in so many ways. It was my first introduction to L.B. Dunbar, and has made me a new fan of this super talented author.
I was glad I read the novella Paradise Tempted: The Beginning before diving into this book as it gave me great insight into the characters and what had transpired between them before Paradise Found: Cain (I highly suggest you give it a read first!), and there are also things within Cain that can only make sense if you've read the novella. I especially loved the moment when Cain and Sofie returned to the Vineyard, effectively taking them back to the first time they met, and the playful way that they rehashed the scene that started it all.
Of course, the end of Paradise Tempted certainly dropped a bomb, and I was excited to see where this would take Cain and Sofie. It seemed time and distance had not dulled their chemistry and passion, as much as Sofie tried to ignore it, and the second they were in each other's company things ignited. But, no great romance would be without its pitfalls and these two faced plenty. Hurt feelings played a major part in keeping them apart, but when it finally seemed they were able to accept everything that had happened, so Dunbar threw another curveball. It was devastating. I was rooting for these two amazing characters every step of the way, and I just wanted to reach into my eReader and throttle Atom Callahan - a cold-hearted, callous man who was only interested in himself and what he could gain.
This was a solid, well written read that held me captive, and broke my heart just as it made it soar. I loved every second spent with these characters, so I was sad to see it come to an end. I cannot wait to read more from this fantastic author.

About the Author
I'd love to say I've written for 10,000 hours, and that makes me a pro. But I can't say that. What I can say is I had a story in my head that wouldn't go away. I thought typing it in my computer would be the end of things, but it only led to another story and another. I love reading, so characters in my head isn't something new. What is new is my creation of them. Hope you enjoy my favorites as much as I do. Happy reading!
