SOMETIMES MOVING ON MEANS MOVING IN
Pixie Marshall wishes every day she could turn back time and fix the past. But she can't. And the damage is done. She's hoping that a summer of free room and board working with her aunt at the Willow Inn will help her forget. Except there's a problem: the resident handyman is none other than Levi Andrews. The handsome quarterback was once her friend-and maybe more--until everything changed in a life-shattering instant. She was hoping to avoid him, possibly forever. Now he's right down the hall and stirring up feelings Pixie thought she'd long buried . . .
Levi can't believe he's living with the one person who holds all his painful memories. More than anything he wants to make things right, but a simple "sorry" won't suffice--not when the tragedy that scarred them was his fault. Levi knows Pixie's better off without him, but every part of him screams to touch her, protect her, wrap her in his arms, and kiss away the pain. Yet even though she's so close, Pixie's heart seems more unreachable than ever. Seeing those stunning green eyes again has made one thing perfectly clear--he can't live without her.

REVIEW
It has been a while since I've felt so completely broken but on such an amazing high after reading a book, and this one snagged at my every emotion with every flip of the page. It consumed me, and the only time I pulled my eyes from this book was to wipe away the tears that kept blinding me. I was an emotional wreck, but in the most fabulous way.
Pixie and Levi pulled on my heart strings. So completely broken and wracked with guilt over their past, I was intrigued by what could have been so devastating to cause such a divide between these two people, who quite obviously felt more for each other than either was willing to give themselves the pleasure of feeling. The tragic past that brought such heart ache and sadness into their lives was not what I was expecting, and it broke me down piece by piece, as both Pixie and Levi relived the tragedy each time they looked at each other. Both so completely misunderstood, not really seeing what the other was feeling, and why it hurt so much to be reminded of what had happened.
There was also plenty of sexual tension between Pixie and Levi, but they were both holding too tightly onto their grief to really do anything about it. That shower scene, however, was smoking hot but so frustrating at the same time. My gosh, I just wanted to lock those two in a room, wipe away all the pain and anguish and just allow them to love each other the way they deserved.
This book was filled with heart ache, but it was also had a bit of humor which lifted my heart from time to time. I found myself bursting out with laughter, which I was thankful for, otherwise I may have not recovered from this emotional rollercoaster. It was a stellar read that stole my breath, made me smile, made me sob, and spoke to the very depths of my soul. AMAZING from start to finish. One of my favorite reads of all time.
