Have you ever thought of taking a vacation alone? I mean step on a plane, check into your hotel, and lie on the beach completely and utterly alone. No? Me either, but then right before senior spring break I got dumped.
Something about break ups makes you do things you didn’t want to do, and try things you didn’t know you were capable of.
That’s how I ended up at the Palm Palace.
That’s how I met Grey.
That’s how my spring break turned into the most unforgettable week of my life.
REVIEW
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was fun and exciting,
with a great mix of romance, passion and sexual tension.
I immediately liked the characters, expect from Brett. He
deserved more than a punch in the face. Grey was to die for. I loved his
stubborn moodiness. It may have annoyed Eden, and Grey may have come off as
being rude, but there was obviously so much below the surface. He wasn’t the
typical brooding bad boy, he was real, had real problems and the fact that he
felt so alone in life, I could understand why he played hot and cold. Once Eden
got him to open up a bit, the sweet and gorgeous Grey showed, and he was
amazing.
I have to say that it was very brave of Eden to head out on
Spring Break all by her lonesome. Especially to a place she could easily run
into her ex. I’m just happy she met wonderful people who looked out for her,
and she even found the best thing to getting over her sleazebag ex. There was
an ease to Grey and Eden’s romance. Yes, they had a few minor hurdles, but
there was nothing so bad that it stood in the way of them getting together.
Unfortunately, it took one misunderstanding and a lot of stubbornness on a
certain someone’s part to derail everything.
This book wasn’t overly emotional, but there was a realness
to the characters and their situations that really spoke to me. I enjoyed every
minute of their story.
