I chose to read Beyond Me first, for no particular reason, and I'm actually glad I did. Quinn's story kind of started right from the very beginning, whereas the other girls' stories started at a later point in the overall story; not that it makes any major difference to the reading experience, but when I read the other books I felt like I was more in the loop. And trust me, if you read one book, you're going to want to read them all :)
I really enjoyed Quinn's story. It was filled with romance, steamy sexual tension, and even a little heart ache - everything I love about this genre. Quinn was a sweet girl. It was quite obvious that she was out of her element, and I liked that James made her feel comfortable. He didn't push her, rather allowing her to ease into things. I also liked that Quinn stood her ground at the party. Even though she and her friends had made it their mission to have more than a good time on their spring break holiday, she was still pretty level headed.
This story was a little predictable. I knew nothing good could come of the "bet" James had not made with his friends, but it was interesting to see how things played out. I enjoyed this novella. It was a fun, quick read, and the second I realized that the other two novellas in this series were interwoven, I had to jump into the next book. This book, in fact this series, is the perfect spring break read.

I was extremely intrigued to read Cassie's story. Things were pretty vague with her in Beyond Me, and I wanted to know more about her and this mystery man who was making her so miserable.
I loved that this book was so very different from the others. More a mystery thriller than a romance, it was exciting and quite suspenseful. I was on the edge of my seat, wondering who the culprit was, and as the pieces started to fall into place I kind of had an inkling of who it was, but there was always that sense of doubt. I have to admit, I did suspect Ty for a while there. The way he acted towards Cassie was a little strange and raised many questions.
There were a few surprise twists that threw me off guard and that only made this story more enthralling.
I have to admit though, as much as I love a good mystery, I really missed the passion and romance. There was obvious chemistry between Ty and Cassie, but he was always pulling away; with good reason. I just felt that even when things heated up with them, it was lukewarm.
Again, this is the perfect spring break read. Not only is it very informative, and any girl planning on getting a little crazy this spring break should really give this book a read, but it was fun in a cloak and daggers kind of way. It complimented the other stories in this series and really offered something a little different. Very enjoyable.

Jen McLaughlin is one of my favorite authors, so I jumped at the chance to read this series when I knew she was involved. I was excited to read Mackenzie's story, because, not only was she a celebrity trying to hide from the media which I knew could go all kinds of crazy, but she also had set her sights on a real hottie bad boy **sigh** I'm such a sucker for tattoos.
Because I had read the other two books in this series first I kind of knew what to expect from this story, but I had such an amazing time reading about Mac and Austin's escapades. They were a steaming hot couple who had smoking chemistry. I loved Austin. And Mackenzie was right about him having this bad boy persona, when in fact there was so much more to him. He was kind and sweet.
Of course, with all the secrets and half truths that plagued their relationship there was bound to be some roadblocks along the way. Both characters had strong personalities, and each had so much to hide, so much to hold on to, and I just hoped they'd make it out okay.
This book was another exciting installment in this amazing series of love and friendship. I enjoyed every second of this story. Another hit by Jen McLaughlin.
