Title: #Player
Series: Hashtag Series
Author: Cambria Hebert
Genre: NA Contemp/College Romance
Release Date: March 9, 2015

Players gotta play.

Hate is like a poison. It contaminates everything.

So does doubt.

Even though I deny what I overheard, even though I insist it isn’t true, the seed of doubt has been planted. I can’t help but be tormented with the endless what-if’s that have taken over our lives.

Romeo and I were happy in love. The future stretched before us brighter than any star in the darkest sky. Now everything is broken. Literally broken. Romeo’s entire career is at stake, my entire future is threatened… and my past?

It’s coming back to haunt me.

To haunt us.

Romeo says we’re in this together and right now the only sure thing is us. But how far can a love so new be pushed? The lengths we will have to go to save each other puts everything at risk.

Romeo is a #player but how much of the game can one person play?

REVIEW

Romeo & Rimmel have to be the most adorable couple in creation and I have fallen more and more in love with them with each book. Their relationship has certainly had its hardships but I love how, no matter what, they were a constant, strong unit of love and affection.

It seems that with each book their story has become darker and more dangerous, and even though Zach posed a huge threat in #Hater, these two amazing characters faced the ultimate hurdle in this book. Not only with the threats that hung over both their careers, but with the possibility that Rimmel's past had come back to haunt them, even though she had no idea her past held such devastating truths.

I was on the edge of my seat with tears in my eyes at the beginning of this book, waiting like every other Alpha U student for news about Romeo's untimely injury. Added to that was the anguish I felt for Rimmel and the ordeal she'd been through, and basically I remained an emotional basket case throughout. But, there were a few rays of sunshine that broke through all the drama; lifting my heart, making me smile. There were plenty of awww moments and tons of feels.

I have to also just give special mention to BBFL, Braeden. He is just the most amazing, brilliant friend and "brother". Romeo is everything a girl could ever want, but he is Rimmel's and I'm perfectly okay with that. So, can I please have Braeden? I don't even care that he's not a relationship type of guy. If Romeo can change then so can his best friend, right? :)

I loved everything about Ro & Rim's story and I am really sad to see it end, but at least they got their happy ending, and that's all I could wish for. I am a huge fan of Hebert's and I have to say that so far her Hashtag Series has to be my favorite.

Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than twenty books. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.

Besides writing, Cambria loves a caramel latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching movies. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chorkie (the real boss of the house).

Cambria has written within the young adult and new adult genres, penning many paranormal and contemporary titles. Her favorite genre to read and write is romantic suspense. A few of her most recognized titles are: Text, Torch, Tryst, Masquerade, and Recalled.
